Help combat your cystic acne with Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion
Posted by roanne in Anti-Acne, Beauty Reviews, Mario Badescu, Skin Care on April 27, 2007
I’ve become a fan of Mario Badescu since its product feature on the local Seventeen Magazine. There was this person who road-tested Mario Badescu drying lotion, and was amazed on how this flaw-nixing lotion shrinks her small zits and reduces her whiteheads overnight. Yes, you got me right there, overnight!
I tried using the drying lotion. Yet, I wasn’t pretty satisfied on the results so I mustered my guts and bought Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion without actually delving any first-hand testimonial that highly recommends it. And, guess what? I finally settled into using it alone more than the drying lotion.
First, I think the plastic bottle with a cone-shaped, dropper-like head is pretty ergonomic. Unlike the drying lotion, I don’t need to a cotton swab to dunk into the product that’ll may probably absorb more than I need, not to mention its fragile glass packaging. Second, due to its potent sulfur content, an ingredient that battles acne the way benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid do [only better I guess], seethes within the dermic layers of the skin to the clogged roots, better shrinking the nasty, headless zit which is also known as cystic acne. I also try to use it sparingly on those blemish-prone areas of my skin where I get the most whiteheads. And within a few days of use, it actually dries up the whiteheads and shrinks the gargantuan cystic acne into a small, pinheaded one. All I need is a comedone extraction from my derma to completely expunge the pustules.
Specifically designed to treat deep, cystic blemishes. Sulfur based solution allows the lotion to be quickly absorbed into the skin, treating the source of the deeply rooted pimples. Excellent spot treatment containing Allantoin to calm and soothe inflammation and promote healing. Best when used before and after Drying Mask. - mariobadescu.com
I am pretty amazed on the product coz it really has the works, although it may be, for somehow, messy to apply or not that pleasantly smelling. A 29 ml of bottle for $ 17 or Php 1,045 is a long way to go. I already consumed two bottles of these!
City Lifestyle Spa’s Harmony in Me

Last Sunday, Jai and I went to City Lifestyle Spa at the heart of Timog and Tomas Morato in Quezon City. I was so lemming to have myself pampered in the spa that then, and he was also convinced to take a break from our exasperating ride back home.
I availed the Harmony Spa, which consisted of a 30 minute body scrub and a 60 minute Swedish massage in a VIP room. Before having my treatments done, I had a chance to take a cool shower and destress myself inside the steamy sauna. After that, I proceeded to my room which I found so ethereal. I loved the cozy interior, fascinated with its luxurious bathroom and hi-tech showers (which I found so ergonomic), and lazed on its cushy, diminutive bed made specially for spas.
Barbie loves MAC collection has surely been getting raves from my fellow makeup lovers. After the MSFs (mineralize skinfinishes) of the Danse Collection comes the unwavering hoopla on Beauty Powders of the Barbie Collection.
