The Body Shop Brazil Nut Define & No Frizz
Filed under: Beauty Reviews and Hair Care and The Body Shop

Picture taken from thebodyshop.comI mentioned in my other blog about this hair product that I religiously use every time my hair seems to be too obstinate to go sleek straight. Oh well, it’s been my problem for years, until I underwent a tortuous rebonding session last year which entailed long hours of sitting and steadfastly hoping that the ironing part would soon be over (and so happy that it actually paid off). I had achieved a long, frizz-free hair for quite a while until today. I’m thinking of going to the salon to have my locks checked up. I love being pampered, but pampering will cost hefty bucks and crossfingers (hoping that money’s well spent). Also, I would want to regain my perfect hair back–and I must admit that I’m really lazy putting hair products all the time! Anyways, it’s still a plan for now, and I’m kind of satisfied with this hair product I’m currently using.

I’m not much of a Body Shop fan, but their Brazil Nut Define and No Frizz really has its works. It’s a nut scented hair styling lotion that really smells so delicious and kind of chocolate-y! Apart from its delectable scent, it also manages to defrizz my stubborn locks, making it calmer and smoother. I apply it on my damp or dry hair, and it really works wonders! The evidence: see it on Beautynomics blog where the Beautynomist and I attended the recently concluded Philippine Blog Awards. And for a cheap price of 500 pesos, I’m sure that everybody will have a salon made hair sans burning holes in the pocket.

Albeit it may not tame the frizziest and kinkiest locks on the planet or not be at par with Kerastase oleo, it’s a sure winner for those who have naturally straight hair with moderate problems on frizz and tangles. Oh yes, it’s can also be used as a detangler since it smoothens the strands, making your hair easier to comb and keep those nasty tangles and knots at bay.

The product is good for emergency touch ups, whether you’re going for a big date or simply wanting to have your hair ponytailed neatly. Just a pea-sized amount will do lest too much may weigh down your hair.
