Barbie loves MAC Beauty Powder — Definitely a Must-Have for the Doll-faced!

Image courtesy of MACCosmetics.ComBarbie loves MAC collection has surely been getting raves from my fellow makeup lovers. After the MSFs (mineralize skinfinishes) of the Danse Collection comes the unwavering hoopla on Beauty Powders of the Barbie Collection.

MSFs were MAC fanatics’ former love because they served as an overall face color, a highlighter. I was among the lucky few who got ahold of Glissade, while I was kind of hapless not to get Lightscapade [like forever]. :( However, I had fun using Glissade specially during rough summer trips, when the sun was at its peak and all I asked was for some sparkly sheen to compliment the glare of its bedazzling rays.

However, upon my recent haul which was last week, I got ahold of this baby, Barbie loves MAC Beauty Powder in Pearl Blossom. It was the last piece of the stall that then, so I had no choice but to grab it within that day. The MAC makeup artist tried to demonstrate using the Beauty Powder as well as the MAC Barbie Loves Powder Blush in Fab on me. Yay, it was really gorgeous! The the color of the blush was so surreal; I didn’t expect that the succulent chocolate-y color [when looking] on the pan would actually turn into a peachy plum shade when applied. But, what really fascinated me was the heavenly blend of the Beauty Powder and the Blush. The Beauty Powder, which serves as a highlighter, gave me a lovely pink flush with a hint of sheen, unlike the MSF which left me some glittery-like chunks strewn on my face. The Beauty Powder has this so-fine shimmers which are naturally and effortlessly subdued, yet still giving a dewy doll-like look (and a fab impression :D). Right now, I take my MSF a break and currently use BP together with my BeneFit Dandelion. Geez, both works so well, and I really look so impeccably flushed sans the spank of a pretentious, ruddy hue.

I’m gonna try getting the other Beauty Powder, which is Pearl Sunshine, for a golden or bronzy effect that’s perfect for any sun goddess who wants spruce up a gaudy tan to a glow!
