TIGI Wishlist
I’m not much into hair products, but my hair is behaving badly recently. Though I’m some kinda satisfied the way Kerastase Oleo Relax works on my locks, applying this gunk of stuff is too time-consuming (consider leaving it for like 30 minutes prior to emulsifying and washing it off).
That’s why, I’d love to seek the help of TIGI in the meantime. I plan of having my hair rebonded soon, but I’m still amid saving up for one big splurge.
BTW, TIGI is a well-renowned brand of hair products in a super funky and odd packaging. I wanna give these leave in/on products a try in the future. So, here goes my TIGI wish list: Read the rest of this entry »
My Teriyaki Boy Experience
Posted by roanne in Japanese Food, Personal Moods, Restaurants, Teriyaki Boy on July 26, 2007

It was a New Year to abhor and remember. Sometime during December, my relatives from the US came back here in the Philippines to celebrate Christmas and New Year’s Day with us. Their homecoming was like a roller coaster ride laden with fun-filled activities. Don’t get me wrong, going to the amusement park wasn’t our thing. We had several resto and bar binges like there’s no tomorrow.
Right before the New Year’s Eve, we had dinner in Teriyaki Boy. I will not mention which branch, but this is one of their biggest stand-alone branches IMO. Since I’ve been a Japanese food lover all my life, I ravaged most of the sushi, sashimi and shrimp tempuras. It felt like the best pigging out season ever, but I was wrong. Apparently, I didn’t mind the awful taste of the tempura’s sauce which kinda appeared as spoiled already. So there, it gave me a fever, stomachache, headache and heartache-heartache because I wasn’t able to celebrate New Year’s Day outside the house nor eat anything from our Medya Noche (it’s like a food fest during the New Year’s Eve).
I was devastated. I promise myself not to eat in Teriyaki Boy anymore.
But then, I ate my words out. Funny thing is, I now love Teriyaki Boy!
I heart Lanvin Eclat D’Arpege!
Posted by roanne in Beauty Reviews, Eclat D'Arpege, Fragrance, Lanvin on July 25, 2007
I’m not a fan of flower-infused scents ‘coz most of the time they stifle me to death. Most perfumes are so overpowering, they smell like Baygon to me.
But, Lanvin Eclat D’ Arpege is a way different.
Amidst having a hard time pronouncing this sumptuous scent from the house of Lanvin (pronounced as “Lan-van” just like Clarins), I mustered my dire hesitation on road-testing this scent and asked the saleslady to try it on me. So, she sprayed twice on my wrist where the pulse point is located. I am not sure why perfumes must be sprayed on pulse points, but maybe because those points hold the scent longer and make it linger more throughout the day. Going back, I tried taking a few sniffs. I was immediately in love with the scent the first try!
