Skinfood Ginkgo Blemish Balm Cream

image courtesy of skinfood.sgThe blemish balm cream, commonly known as bb cream, has been a cult favorite in other Asian countries particularly Korea, Singapore and Taiwan (reviews here). If my research’s right, I think it originated in Korea and has been carried out by several brands including BRTC, Misscha, TFS and Skinfood to name a few. Many have claimed that this so-called miraculous cream does wonders on their skin, making it clear, supple and youthfully glowing.

Since I drool over Korean porcelain skin a lot, I’ve managed to grab one as soon as possible. I scoured Korean brands available here in the local market like The Face Shop and Skinfood but to no avail. Skinfood, however, told me that this new product of theirs would be launched soon and they’d contact me as soon as it’s available. So, I waited for the Skinfood SA’s text until last Saturday, she told me that the product has arrived and is now ready for purchase!

I was so giddy, I immediately ran to SM Megamall after work. And, finally, I got ahold of this precious Skinfood Ginkgo BB Cream! Skinfood is tad pricier than TFS, but what the heck, it’s still relatively cheaper compared to MAC.

Nail Spa is Love <3

image courtesy of guides.clickthecity.comI’m a bit OC when it comes to primping nails. It’s like, I feel so listless and depressed whenever I see my nails dirty and undone. I’m not that high maintenance at all, but I believe that grooming my nails is a huge part of being hygienic. People can deem one’s character just by simply looking at one’s nails.

I’ve been an avid visitor and customer of Nail Spa in Shangri-la Mall. Like many others, I used to visit a commonplace salon for a mani-pedi. Well, it’s too commonplace that bacteria gotten from one’s foot may transfer to mine! Their nail accessories aren’t sterilized at all. Scarier news? Someone already died from a bacterial infection caused by unsanitary foot spa.

Nail Spa, on the other hand, assures its customers that everything is spic and span. All items, including nail accessories, are carefully sterilized before use, plus their wide range of nail polish colors to boot. Choose from a variety of leading nail polish brands like Sally Hansen, China Glaze, Essie, Orly, OPI and a whole lot more! What’s more exciting is every foot or hand treatment includes a 10-to-20-minute massage.
