Finally: an AMICI Gelato!

After some grueling career thoughts, I finally rested my case to eat not just a gelato, but 2 gelati. Lol.

Well I kid, I kid. Everyone must have known my feverish craving for ice cream from here to there. I got so excited when my best bud Madz and I would finally barge in Amici, an Italian restaurant in the metro widely known for their cheap Italian ice cream called gelato, just right after grabbing lattes in Starbucks. I was just, ugh, nuts. I coerced told her to go there ‘coz I feel like having a gelato as post dessert. Amici has many branches like the ones in Makati, but we resolved to trudge our way to somewhere north, like this branch in Tomas Morato:

*AMICI in Tomas Morato, I was trying to capture Madz whilst falling in line, waiting to have her order taken.*

Anyways, I got myself two gelati as said, one was blueberry and the other one’s choco-hazelnut. And, for a very cheap price of Php 50 (like a dollar) each, I could have hoarded 2 or 3 more!

Everything looks so delectable, and grabbing just only one is not enough (well, in my case).

*What I ordered? L: Choco-Hazelnut R:Blueberry*

The blueberry flavor is really l-o-v-e! I really, really love it to bits. The choco-hazelnut’s taste is just so-so for me.

But what I really love about all their gelati in particular is their not-too-saccharine sweet taste. The sweetness is just-right for me. Another is the chunky fruit or nut pieces in the ice cream really add to the flavor. It’s like eating something fresh and homemade!

And looks like I shall return. As trite as it sounds, but I am definitely going back there again!
