…and Everything will fall into place.

I never believe in destiny, only because that defeats free will.

But looking back, there are a lot of things unexpected came forth and fell into place. For somehow, I believe everything and everyone is somehow connected. There’s this inherent power in the universe that conspires and conglomerates things, making everything rolled into one world, ecosystem or biosphere–whatever you call it. Free will takes place should we consider one of the few options on how to react with these things so-called trials and tribulations, luck or opportunities.

No matter how we push ourselves to neutrality, we can never be unbiased in every decision being pondered. There’s always an extreme side to take. There’s only a yes or no. Whatever decision is made, it would certainly outweigh the benefits of one from the other. Or, I rather say, it should. Everything must be carefully considered. One may choose an option whether to subjectively allow himself/herself to reason in the process. One may rely on his/her own experience, with or without any relation to others’ experience, of which he/she deems it as the empirical truth. On the other hand, one may rationalize by means of doing careful calculations and drawing plausible conclusions on the probable end-all and be-all of his/her decisions. It may be an impulsive reaction, a defence mechanism, or a carefully thought plan. Hence, nobody has the full capacity to accurately reckon or predict the possibilities of each decision resolved. No one knows what the future holds.

How is the outcome presented? In every road taken, there is always a dead-end. One must either suffer or celebrate, and it serves him/her right. There is balance in all things. One cannot forever perish for something lost, nor one can always revel for something gained. Everyone must experience a bit of both, for that makes us a better individual.

Life is a short-lived adventure. It’s a journey filled with meandering paths, and one has no choice but to choose a road to travel. All the trials and tribulations as well as success and progress that it entails build a big picture–a memoir that defines us and our adventures.

At the end of the journey, everything will fall into its proper place. :)
