It’s a love story of estranged lovers, an American girl named Lucy (hence, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds) and a British boy named Jude (Hey Jude), amidst the chaotic 60′s of anti-war protests, freedom of speech and civil rights. The Beatles‘ songs were used throughout the film. More than the mushiness, expect whimsical, often colorful visual allusions to each scenes intertwined with the band’s music such as Help!, Let it Be, Strawberry Fields, amongst others.
