I know, the title doesn’t quite make sense, but I’m very busy right now esp. this week. I’ll make this post as clear and concise as possible. So anyway, speaking of lunch boxes, I just bought one last week:

*Lock & Lock Lunch Box*
I’ve been planning for months, even before the Ondoy onslaught, to get myself a decent lunch box. One thing I learned from financial aka the art and science of scrimping management is to cut back. Cutting back for me means having packed lunches instead of buying one outside which usually costs much. I don’t want to bleed too much money on food, so I’ll try to avoid Kettle Chips and Starbucks for now. It’s my own way of doing myself a favor from breaking the bank everyday. It actually works wonders ‘coz I can really save some money this time around!
It’s nice that Lock & Lock finally has its own store here in the Philippines. Unfortunately, there were only a few lunch box selections left when I went to their branch in Eastwood Mall. Anyhow, I chose the black polka dot lunch box from the small variety ‘coz it’s black, so it’s less prone to icky, visible stains.
Their lunch boxes kinda worth a fortune (mine costs Php 800), but it’s really good investment IMO. Need not to worry for cold “baons” since the bag itself is insulated, keeping the food warm for at most 4 hours. The set comes with a pair of plastic utensils, water bottle, and 2 stackable airtight containers. Best of all, the containers are microwave oven-safe.
Of course, if you’ve known Lock & Lock for years like I do, you could easily attest to its durability and reliability.

I want one.Ü I wonder if any of the stores here in the South sell that lunch box.

I’m sure some stores in the South have one. Check out Shopwise or S&R Branches. Usually, they have stocks in department stores.

Hi Roanne, just stumbled upon your blog through Kay’s blog sale.
I wish I had that lunch bag when I was in high school. That way by the time I ate my lunch it wasn’t as if it came from the fridge because of the blasting air conditioner!

Hi Nina! Thanks for dropping by
Oh, I’m also wishing the same way. It would have been “money baon” saver if Lock & Lock was available then.
