Nail Spa is Love <3

image courtesy of guides.clickthecity.comI’m a bit OC when it comes to primping nails. It’s like, I feel so listless and depressed whenever I see my nails dirty and undone. I’m not that high maintenance at all, but I believe that grooming my nails is a huge part of being hygienic. People can deem one’s character just by simply looking at one’s nails.

I’ve been an avid visitor and customer of Nail Spa in Shangri-la Mall. Like many others, I used to visit a commonplace salon for a mani-pedi. Well, it’s too commonplace that bacteria gotten from one’s foot may transfer to mine! Their nail accessories aren’t sterilized at all. Scarier news? Someone already died from a bacterial infection caused by unsanitary foot spa.

Nail Spa, on the other hand, assures its customers that everything is spic and span. All items, including nail accessories, are carefully sterilized before use, plus their wide range of nail polish colors to boot. Choose from a variety of leading nail polish brands like Sally Hansen, China Glaze, Essie, Orly, OPI and a whole lot more! What’s more exciting is every foot or hand treatment includes a 10-to-20-minute massage.

My Nail Color is chip-free with Essie Nail Polish

Courtesy of google.com

I have had countless trips to salons since high school to have my nails perked. I’ve never known until now that there’s something such as a base coat and a top coat that need to be applied to keep nails from the sallow, unhealthy stain that’s usually left by nail polishes, and to keep those polishes last longer and from chipping. I always thought that the top coat has the same ingredient as the usual colorless nail polish, but with Essie, it’s kinda different–so does its nail color.

I chanced upon using Essie to update my nail color when I had my feet pampered care of Nail Spa in Shangri la. It was my first time trying Essie since it’s really one expensive nail color. A bottle of this would cost me around P 700, which is quite impractical to get such here in the Philippines unless I’m filthy rich. Anyway, as I tried it on, I noticed that the pedicurist made a wonderful job on applying it flawlessly. It looked like so acrylic! I’ve tried several nail polishes before including orly, sally hansen, lancome, dior, etc and it was only Essie that I found such bliss. Plus, it’s also a tough nut to crack! What I mean is, the nail polish didn’t chip for quite a while, nor even lose/fade its color. I had my nails done 3 weeks ago and it looked as they were just done last week!
