You can say I’m too old and too late to finally welcome Final Fantasy into my gaming life. Well, it all started out when I finished playing Final Fantasy Crisis Core in PSP. Actually, I’m playing it all over again. The game has indubitably kickass storyboard, and Fine HD graphics particularly some videos (see first and last vids, but you need to finish the game in order to see the latter one ), so there’s no question to it that it’s worth all the heed. Oh yes, I’m yet in love again to adamantly follow this whole FF saga.

Why yet in love? It’s because I first stumbled upon Final Fantasy when the computer technician who fixed my PC then (now totally dead) included two Final Fantasy VIII videos. They seemed like music videos with its theme Eyes On Me by Nobuo Uematsu. There it mainly featured two protagonists of the series, Squall Leonhart and Rinoa Heartilly. The mesmerizing video somewhat arrested me. I researched stuff about it online, and downloaded pics and wallpapers to boot!

Yet, I didn’t play it on PS, nor PS2. I just thought it was too time-consuming, and I was all eyes then on Diablo II Expansion, Sim City 4 and Generals–which are mostly PC games.

Good thing, Sony launched PlayStation Portable, so I got ahold one. There came FF in my PSP. At first, I tried playing Final Fantasy Tactics, but I got sick of it and so I ditched the game instead. Then just recently, I tried out Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, and the rest is history!

Now, I got acquainted with Cloud Strife, Tifa Lockhart, Angeal Hewley, Sephiroth, Genesis Rhapsodos,
Aerith Gainsborough and of course, Zack Fair. I found the story morbid (esp. at the end), yet totally engrossing!

I also did watch Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children on Animax.

I bet my arse FF 8-14 is as exciting as this one!

What’s New? Final Fantasy Dissidia on PSP

Final Fantasy Dissidia is another FF franchise by Square-Enix, makers of all-time Final Fantasy series, and will be available on PSP. The story goes like this:

An endless battle continues between Cosmos, goddess of harmony, and Chaos, the god of discord. Both are symbols, and form an equilibrium.

The world was consumed by Chaos when the destroyers broke the balance. The only hope lies within the 10 warriors summoned by Cosmos.

The game features heroes and villains from the past Final Fantasy installments (I-XI). The release date is set on August 25, 2009, but you can pre-order the game through Game Stop, Amazon and Best Buy.

Ok, ok. Back to our regular programming…

I currently have three homes.

1. House
2. Office
3. Starbucks

I happen to go to Starbucks a lot, which can’t be considered a pragmatic routine. Well, I do drop by only once or twice a week, everyday at max. But the real deal is, I usually stay up to 5 friggin hours playing psp, drinking coffee or juice, binging on sweets, listening to sedating jazz or bosanova music, bugging people through SMS, reading some didactic stuff (lol @ this one!) and of course, sleeping. Sometimes, I got company. Other times, I’m just alone in the couch, enjoying my solitude despite the fact that people sometimes throw wistful stares at me.

Going back, I happened to visit Starbucks in Araneta Center one time to check out if I can surf through the Net using my PSP. Great thing, they got free wifi access within the coliseum’s vicinity.

So, first up. I tried visiting Google. Let’s see if my SEO prowess works:

As you can see, I tried searching using the keyword “twitter”. Results were flashed in the screen after pressing the Search button (quite obvious, lol). There’s no denying that I can do some work shit here, such as checking my sites’ statistics, or prolly my sites’ ranking using a particular keyword I’m taking care of.

*Holy Guacamole! I can now twit using my PSP.*

Lo and Behold, Twitter.com. I had problems posting my twits though since Twitter’s scheduled for site maintenance at that time. So, I really did experience quite a low down, aside from the fact that the wifi connection’s pretty slow.

At the end of the day night, nothing beats a Starbucks drink to join me.

Enough of this one, let’s talk about makeup next time.

I’ve been hooked into gaming consoles since grade school. I even remember playing Street Fighter non-stop using Sega Mega Drive, Tekken 3 on PS1 and PS2, and Mario World on Super Nintendo.

I haven’t played for quite a while. I guess, apart from growing up and fixating more on life’s more important issues and responsibilities (bleh), I got too much involved on super serious stuff.

Well, my penchant for games came back when an officemate brought along his PSP. Ha-ha. So there, you caught me playing in the office. Well, it’s just a quick lull of the moment amid heaps of day’s work load.

Going back, I somewhat convinced my mom to buy me one. I know it’s kinda absurd for a working lass to ask something from her mom–especially ask something pretty juvenile. Since I have my two little brothers in tow to share it with, she gave in a snap!

So, why pink? Well, the color is fab! The tinge is not overpowering (unlike hot pink), which makes it look cooler and cuter. Honestly, it’s not really because I love pink (as a color). I just want my new gaming baby isolated from the generic blacks. To cut the crap, I just wanna grab something with a unique color as much as possible.

My cute lil nephew (who’s actually my cousin. but hence, call him nephew) has his in silver.

I’m not sure if my older cousin is gonna buy his own. But heck, there are now two PSPs in the house. So, let the battle begin!
