In this note, Philhosting has just launched its Cloud Unlimited Web Hosting.

Given the word “unlimited”, availing one of the hosting packages entitles you to unlimited web disk space, monthly bandwidth, sub-domains, e-mail accounts and even databases (the latter for supreme package only) for a very affordable price.

We have designed our unlimited cloud web hosting to have no single fault layer and to offer our customers an affordable shared hosting solution. Unlimited cloud hosting is ideal for small online stores, affiliate marketers, budding entrepreneurs, web designers, photographers, small businesses, or anyone who needs the peace of mind that can be found in enterprise class web hosting.- Philhosting

Choose between Budget, Basic and Supreme Packages.

With cloud hosting, each service and application claim to run independently. Should a portion of the service err, the system will automatically allocate the extra resources available. Services will still be up and running whilst correcting such errors.

<script type="text/javascript"

Mashable is getting some juicy buzz testing this new communication platform developed by Google. Google Wave is a real-time interactive communication and collaboration tool that’s yet to be launch later this year. The guys behind Google Maps with a small team in Sydney is behind this ingenious idea.

Google Wave is an all-in-one online communication tool. It’s a built-in e-mail, web chat, instant messaging and project management software. It has a replay feature which allows you to view previous conversions recorded, and a drag-and-drop feature which allows you to drag attachments from your desktop into Google Wave. File is loaded and sends it instantly to your group in a particular conversation. Moreover, it is embeddable, so there’s no problem showing Google Wave conversations into your blog or web site.

Wait. There’s more! The cooler part behind this platform are the Gadgets and Robots.

A gadget is an application users can participate with, many of which are built on Google’s OpenSocial platform. A good comparison would be iGoogle gadgets or Facebook applications. Robots, on the other hand, are an automated participant within a wave. They can talk with users and interact with waves. They can provide information from outside sources (i.e. Twitter (Twitter)) or they can check content within a wave and perform actions based on them (i.e. provide you a stock quote if a stock name is mentioned).-Mashable

Well, I’ve been seriously addicted into downloading various iPhone/iTouch applications, and I can’t wait to try these gadgets out! Earlier, it’s said to mix project management in it, so I expect some project management apps aside from the interactive ones.

I’m just a bit <s>wary</s> curious on the robots though, since this tool might be “abusive” in nature, depending on the circumstances. Like, how is the automation executed? And, is it likely to cause flood in conversation threads (waves)? Another thing is, is it susceptible to spam? In my opinion, if it’s automated, then there must be some serious “control” over it. Otherwise, it’s considered egregious.

Google Wave To Make E-mail Obsolete?

E-mail has been with us for decades, making it a vital, ubiquitous means of communication. It has made a huge impact on snail mail, since people prefer to send their letters and discourses on the web free-of-charge knowing that the receiver can get it in a jiffy, than to spend some time (and money) writing down, not to mention the tedious hours of queuing in the post office sans being granted of any assurance that the person is gonna receive it sooner or later.

With the launch of Google Wave, a question hovers: could it actually kill e-mail? What does it take to make e-mail a forgotten thing in the past?

There are so many questions raised, yet it’s too soon to find out. For me, I think it could create an impact, one way or another. Many people are quite adamant to Google updates, so it’s safe to say that this can hit the spot. Nevertheless, it may likely succeed or bomb, depending on how the huge audience (Google has) are gonna accept it. But for now, it looks like everyone’s pretty much excited!

To keep the fire burning, Google shares this demo video below:

Never mind having quite an upset stomach due to too much booze, I had fun, gadget-y weekend by finally getting my <s>overpriced</s> funky headphones and watching <s>Megan Fox untainted</s> Transformers II.

Skull Candy TI Headphones

*My “skull” in classic black*

Last Saturday, my feverish lust for getting a pair of smashing Skull Candy DJ headphones was finally fulfilled–and more than satiated! I was actually thinking of getting myself a GI in Winter or Desert Camo, or a very girly TI in pink fur. But, I gave in and settled for a Skull Candy TI in classic black.

Well, it ain’t bad coz I got my TI for a price of a GI (TI’s are normally a bit more expensive than GI’s). But, I won’t ever mind shelling out additional 10 bucks for a price of a TI if I’d be snagging this one Tokidoki–talking about coolness!

*Skull Candy TI in Tokidoki for $89.99*

Oh well, it seems like I’m gonna look forward into getting it as soon as stocks are available in the Philippines.

T-T-Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

*Optimus Prime and Jetfire combined!*

I know, I know. The picture itself is worth a spoiler! My amazement goes to this scene from the much awaited Transformers 2. Shortly after getting my headphones with friend M, former office mates F, H, B, C and myself headed to Eastwood Cinemas to watch the robot-infused flick. Okay, so it was just weird seeing Megan Fox looking clean and hot throughout the movie (no unkempt hair look, not a single mote or stain in the face), whilst Shia and his ‘rents were all dirty and sodden.

But hey, the highlight of the story are, uhm, the autobots and the decepticons–particularly Optimus Prime and the Fallen.

**Missing plot spotted though. Whatever happened to the twin robots (Mudflap and Skids) undauntedly fighting against Devastator???

For those tech enthusiasts, I know posting this might be a way too late, but I just can’t stop raving on how adorable the wallpapers for Windows 7 are! Windows 7 is the current OS of Microsoft Windows in beta mode, meaning it’s still in the process of development and has a greater propensity of being unstable. It’s currently in the testing phase, and the best part is, you can actually get to test it yourself if you feel like it!

Going back, they also release a set of RC wallpapers for the OS under <s>construction</s> development. These wallpapers consist of fancy surrealist and abstract expressionist CGIs, macro shots, wonderful nature shots, and other cutesy graphic designs. Let me share a few of them I totally like.

*This one is so fancy and surreal! Reminds me of Alice in Wonderland. *

*I just love the blending of dark, rich colors. Plus, the radial gradient of heart and swirl figures really adds some oomph. This one looks surefire girly to me. *

*The last one really invokes quite a message, particularly about Global Warming. It depicts glaciers melting in a patch of dark soil. Click here for more info about melting glaciers.*

One not-so-sunny Saturday afternoon, friend A and I went to Bonifacio High Street in Taguig to check out the Philips Go Gear Event. I’m not much of a gadget girl (I only own a laptop, an iTouch, a Nokia phone and a PSP 2000), but I must admit that I’m pretty much of an audiophile.

Added being caffeine aficionado to boot,I sipped 2 glassfuls of yummy Raspberry Mocha Twist from Seattle’s Best, whilst looking at this wonderful Philips GoGear Gadgets. And, these two pique my interest:

Luxe & Stylish

Clip and click to always stay tuned and connected. The chic Philips GoGear LUXE MP3 player fastens like an accessory so you can wear your music. Switch from music to calls on your Bluetooth mobile phone and view caller ID – at a touch. -Philips

What I like about this is its pretty, bejeweled skin that really puts some fashion statement into any wardrobe. Plus, it boasts a Bluetooth headset, so there’s no need to put on a different earpiece when answering calls.

Flexible & Handy

Clip on your music and go! The Philips GoGear Mix MP3 player lets you transfer files speedily with push-out USB no cables required. Enjoy easy navigation on its full color display and 25-hour music playback with its embedded battery -Philips

Talking about ergonomics, I have a penchant for penlight, USB MP3 players. This mp3 player doubles as a USB flash drive, perfect to store your MP3s and non-audio files in one go. Diminutive as it seems, this has a full color display, something that my old Samsung MP3 player lacks.

Too bad, I wasn’t able to stay longer to watch the band and enjoy Pinoy music afterwards. Anyway, Philips is currently holding its Bandwidth Battle of the Bands. For more information about Philips GoGear and the competition, kindly log on to http://philipsbandwidth.blogspot.com/

Recently, I stumbled upon this ultimately gorgeous laptop from Gizmag, as it showcased the Tulip E-Go Diamond that costs a hefty $350,000! Well, that’d certainly cost me a not just an arm and a leg, but a head.

Released late in 2006 in the US, the laptop certainly looks like the iBook G3–the clamshell laptop released by Apple way back in 1999, that looks like a powder/mirror compact. The only difference, aesthetically aside from the “tulip logo”, is that you can customize the laptop skin by choosing from the wide arrays of lovely interchangeable skins available. It also comes with a matching sophisticated laptop bag.

*Pink Ego Laptop that come with its matching laptop bag. Yummm! *

Of course, being technically stylish has still its own price. An Ego laptop sans the diamond encrusted skin usually costs more or less $5,000. It’s currently available on selected stores in the US, Middle East and Europe. Check Ego Lifestyle website for more info.

If you’re from the Philippines, don’t fret ‘coz you can grab this fab baby by visiting IM-HM.com (an online store owned by Bianca Zobel).

Many of you would concur that most Filipino yuppies just can’t take their hands off the latest gadgets. Thus, they feverishly keep on updating and upgrading their stuff every now and then.
Vertu teamed up with French jewellery house, Boucheron, for this extra luxurious phone in commemoration of the latter’s 150th anniversary.

It comes with an exquisite wooden box made by Reuge, well-known Swiss makers of artisan music boxes to date. Upon opening the box, it plays Vertu’s signature Sandpiper ringtone with its custom-built brass music drum in it.

Christmas is all about gift-giving. Sometimes, I think it’s absurd, but I have this compulsive disorder of giving presents even if it will blow my budget big time in the long run. Well, I used to be like that (hence, the past tense). Now, here comes the pragmatic me–making sure that all’s within my reach-slash-budget.

Well, anyhoos, it’s not that I give because I expect something in return. Hey, Christmas is more of giving rather than receiving. I think maturity befalls me so easily that I never ever expect a gift in return, and it’s okay. I really don’t care about the present. Rather, I appreciate the thought of giving more than anything else.

Enough gab and drama, I actually splurged one for myself. It’s a Birthday-slash-Christmas gift since I think I ought to be very selfish at times. So, I got myself an iPod Touch.

*iPod Touch is LOVE.*

This is by far the greatest thing I’ve ever bought! I super duper love it! I am not really much of a gadget freak, but if I hafta buy some gadget, I wanna make sure it’s really versatile. I’m playing with this baby more than my PSP to date.

Obviously, it plays music and videos which greatly satiate the audiophile in me. It also has wifi which lets me surf the net and download more applications. Speaking of applications, I could get as many as I can for free–may it be games, scheduler/organizer, e-books, etc.

*Yummy Shower Pick-me-uppers*

Another gift that I love: Philosophy’s The Coffee House Set. I got this from my office’s Secret Santa. It’s really nice that P, my Secret Santa, and I have the same taste and she chose this one from a myriad of stuff I indicated on my wish list. I’m a big fan of scents, so this one’s a surefire winner on my olfactory sense. More story on my other blog.

Last gift that I got was from my childhood friend. J just gave me a very beautiful scarf! I have a newfound penchant for wearing and collecting scarves and shawls, and this one really fulfills my utmost desire. It’s a pretty brownish woven scarf that’s just perfect for all occasions! I’m gonna post a picture here as soon as I got my camera cable ready.

In hindsight, of course, all gifts I received are very much appreciated! I love them all–the lingerie, bangles, monies (lol), pambahays, kikay stuff, etc. I couldn’t ask for more!

First up, a shameless plug.

If you’re interested to know the ropes of Internet Marketing or looking for a job related to this, then here’s your chance to score a seminar for the price of nil. Yes, you got that right, it’s FREE.

Don’t miss this chance to meet and greet Philippines’ Internet Marketing experts.

Ok, ok. Back to our regular programming…

I currently have three homes.

1. House
2. Office
3. Starbucks

I happen to go to Starbucks a lot, which can’t be considered a pragmatic routine. Well, I do drop by only once or twice a week, everyday at max. But the real deal is, I usually stay up to 5 friggin hours playing psp, drinking coffee or juice, binging on sweets, listening to sedating jazz or bosanova music, bugging people through SMS, reading some didactic stuff (lol @ this one!) and of course, sleeping. Sometimes, I got company. Other times, I’m just alone in the couch, enjoying my solitude despite the fact that people sometimes throw wistful stares at me.

Going back, I happened to visit Starbucks in Araneta Center one time to check out if I can surf through the Net using my PSP. Great thing, they got free wifi access within the coliseum’s vicinity.

So, first up. I tried visiting Google. Let’s see <s>if my SEO prowess works</s>:

*Yayness, it works! I conquer the internet through PSP. *

As you can see, I tried searching using the keyword “twitter”. Results were flashed in the screen after pressing the Search button (quite obvious, lol). There’s no denying that I can do some work shit here, such as checking my sites’ statistics, or prolly my sites’ ranking using a particular keyword I’m taking care of.

*Holy Guacamole! I can now twit using my PSP.*

Lo and Behold, Twitter.com. I had problems posting my twits though since Twitter’s scheduled for site maintenance at that time. So, I really did experience quite a low down, aside from the fact that the wifi connection’s pretty slow.

At the end of the <s>day</s> night, nothing beats a Starbucks drink to join me.

Enough of this one, let’s talk about makeup next time.

Last Saturday, I tugged my mom along to buy me a PSP slim in Pink. Don’t worry, I’m still the same 22-year-old woman/girl who happen to love both vanity and, ugh, games.

I’ve been hooked into gaming consoles since grade school. I even remember playing Street Fighter non-stop using Sega Mega Drive, Tekken 3 on PS1 and PS2, and Mario World on Super Nintendo.

I haven’t played for quite a while. I guess, apart from growing up and fixating more on life’s more important issues and responsibilities (bleh), I got too much involved on super serious stuff.

Well, my penchant for games came back when an officemate brought along his PSP. Ha-ha. So there, you caught me playing in the office. Well, it’s just a quick lull of the moment amid heaps of day’s work load.

Going back, I somewhat convinced my mom to buy me one. I know it’s kinda absurd for a working lass to ask something from her mom–especially ask something pretty juvenile. Since I have my two little brothers in tow to share it with, she gave in a snap!

*My PSP Slim in Rose Pink. *

So, why pink? Well, the color is fab! The tinge is not overpowering (unlike hot pink), which makes it look cooler and cuter. Honestly, it’s not really because I love pink (as a color). I just want my new gaming baby isolated from the generic blacks. To cut the crap, I just wanna grab something with a unique color as much as possible.

My cute lil nephew (who’s actually my cousin. but hence, call him nephew) has his in silver.

I’m not sure if my older cousin is gonna buy his own. But heck, there are now two PSPs in the house. So, let the battle begin!
