Wonders of Tea Tree Oil

courtesy of herbalremedies.com

Tea tree Oil is most commonly found in Australia. It was believed that it was widely used by the early Aussie Aborigines, mainly because of its antiseptic and anti-fungal properties.

Like the coconut oil, I consider this oil as the universal oil because of its many therapeutic properties. I first sought glance at The Body Shop’s Tea Tree Oil during the hype of my breakouts back then. For me, the solution was too weak, for it didn’t do much for my acne. Then, I recognized that their essential oil wasn’t really purely essential at all. For a small vial, the tea tree oil is diluted with water.

So there, I wasn’t contented. Recently, I found out that there’s a 100% pure tea tree oil being sold in beauty bar. I got myself a bigger bottle of Tea Tree Theraphy, which is practically cheaper than that of The Body Shop. The line comes with not just merely the tea tree essential oil itself, but also a cream, soap, shampoo, conditioner, douche, lotion and a whole lot more. This made me think for a while, but I finally resort to getting the oil instead.

The Body Shop Brazil Nut Define & No Frizz

Picture taken from thebodyshop.comI mentioned in my other blog about this hair product that I religiously use every time my hair seems to be too obstinate to go sleek straight. Oh well, it’s been my problem for years, until I underwent a tortuous rebonding session last year which entailed long hours of sitting and steadfastly hoping that the ironing part would soon be over (and so happy that it actually paid off). I had achieved a long, frizz-free hair for quite a while until today. I’m thinking of going to the salon to have my locks checked up. I love being pampered, but pampering will cost hefty bucks and crossfingers (hoping that money’s well spent). Also, I would want to regain my perfect hair back–and I must admit that I’m really lazy putting hair products all the time! Anyways, it’s still a plan for now, and I’m kind of satisfied with this hair product I’m currently using.

I’m not much of a Body Shop fan, but their Brazil Nut Define and No Frizz really has its works. It’s a nut scented hair styling lotion that really smells so delicious and kind of chocolate-y! Apart from its delectable scent, it also manages to defrizz my stubborn locks, making it calmer and smoother. I apply it on my damp or dry hair, and it really works wonders! The evidence: see it on Beautynomics blog where the Beautynomist and I attended the recently concluded Philippine Blog Awards. And for a cheap price of 500 pesos, I’m sure that everybody will have a salon made hair sans burning holes in the pocket.
